Classes At
Purna Yoga London
Our asana classes begin with a meditation focused on centering of the Mental and Vital energies and an increased connection with the Heart Centre. The stresses of everyday life melt away as the focus becomes you and your personal growth.
Once centered you’ll move to warm-up the body, stretch tight and tired muscles and expand your awareness of breath. Then you’ll work at a pace appropriate to your level on strength, flexibility and balance. The sequences of Purna Yoga are designed to address the various body systems in a logical and safe manner. Your nervous system won’t be jarred by the sequencing but instead you’ll walk away feeling nourished, calm and free.
The final part of class is Shavasana – relaxation that integrates the Mental, Physical and Psycho-spiritual aspects of the class.
Purna Yoga London also offers courses in Pranayama and Applied Philosophy, nutrition classes, and Purna Yoga Meditation instruction. More information on Classes at Purna Yoga London
Purna Yoga is the art of loving yourself by living from the Heart Centre. Whether you simply want to feel better physically or you are on the path to spiritual liberation, Purna Yoga London can provide guidance on your journey.
At Purna Yoga London our mission is to help people to be free to pursue their purpose in life. How? By teaching them to keep the body operating at it’s best, to keep the mind clear and focused, and to stay present and mindful in everyday life.
Purna Yoga is the synthesis of Sri Aurobindo’s Integral Yoga, the working knowledge of the Sutras, Hatha Yoga Pradipika and Nutrition of Aadil Palkhivala and the experiential meditation of Savitri.
